Welcome to Yeru Bön Center!

Yeru Bön Center, based in Los Angeles, is a spiritual community supporting the teachings and practice of the Bön wisdom tradition in the United States and the Western Hemishpere.

The teachings of Bön are as vital now as they were 18,000 years ago when the enlightened one, Tönpa Shenrab Miwoche, brought them to the land of Zhang Zhung in Central Asia and then to Tibet. We receive these precious teachings of compassion, wisdom, and healing known as Yungdrung Bön, the everlasting Bön, through an unbroken line of teachers. The fruit of the path is enlightenment not only for oneself, but for all sentient beings.

Weekly and Monthly Practice

Each Tuesday at 7:00pm, we meet for chanting and meditation practice. Everyone is welcome!

Latri Nyima Dakpa, spiritual director of Yeru Bön Center, due to his busy schedule delayed his 2008-09 teaching tour. Rinpoche is hoped to return to the Yeru Bon Center to continue his teachings in 2010.

Friday, June 11 - 7:00p.m. through 9:00p.m. (Donation $20.00) Geshe YongDong will be teaching on the root of suffering:The Ego. Geshe YongDong will be giving an intoduction to the Bön and the Ngondro Transmission.

Saturday, June 12 - 10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. (Donation $60:00) In the morning will Geshe YongDong be teaching on the Opening of the Heart: Guru Yoga, Meditations, Confessiont and the 100 Syllable Mantra. In the afternoon session Geshe YongDong will be teaching on Purifying and Cleansing: Bodichitta, Refuge, and Mandala Offering

Sunday, June 13 - 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. (Donation $50:00) Geshe YongDong is scheduled to teach on Perfectring Oneself: The Three Heart Mantras, Chod Practice and Guru Yoga.
